Tribute to Rod Dalglish
The iUG AP Discovery conference honoured Rod Dalglish, who retired from the Board after 18 years of volunteer service. “Rod’s vision and leadership were instrumental in establishing IUG in the Asia Pacific region and driving our success over the past two decades,” said Robin Shepherd, Chair of iUG Asia Pacific. “His contributions have had a lasting impact on the iMIS community, and we are deeply grateful for his commitment and generous spirit.”
The iUG AP Discovery Conference was preceded by a full day of popular iMIS certification boot camps, including those for Certified iMIS Users (CiU), Certified iMIS Administrators (CiA), and Certified iMIS Professionals (CiP).
“In 2023, we set attendance records — and we exceeded them this year!” said Ms. Shepherd. “After more than 18 hours of educational and networking sessions, the attendees’ enthusiasm for learning, sharing, and growing with iMIS was inspiring. As the Founding Partner of iUG, ASI plays an important role in helping us curate a rich program of educational and collaborative opportunities and we are grateful for their support.”
ASI’s Managing Director of ASI Asia-Pacific, Paul Ramsbottom, added, “We are very proud to once again sponsor the AP Discovery Conference. Excitement around iMIS was unmistakable throughout the event, particularly around new features released over the past year. iMIS users shared they are also very interested in learning more about how ASI’s entire suite of constituent engagement solutions can work together to help their organisations achieve continuous performance improvement.”
